This is probably a bit against business.. but it is frustrating living in Europe where one still has to do Roaming moving over a border. Why isn’t it possible for Mobile operators to go EU wide? Whatever answer or excuse they have, there is probably just one reason: to suck money out of people.
Right now I am going to be active in 3 countries (Germany, Belgium and Poland), and I need 3 mobile contracts to get decently online. (Well, no contracts because of the even more maffia practice of 2 year contract minimum).
Very, very frustrating! And I’m sure the operational costs are not THAT big anymore seeing the number of people that are on those networks.
